“Moments” hitmaker Emerson Drive to perform at Winstock

Emerson Drive will make its Winstock debut at the 15th anniversary celebration Saturday, June 14, 2008 in Winsted, Minn.

The band has been making waves lately with its number one hit “Moments,” which earned them a Grammy nomination for Best Country Performance By A Group or Duo with Vocals.

“Wow, what a great way to wrap up 2007,” said lead vocalist Brad Mates. “To be nominated in the same category with The Eagles, who are our heroes, as well as all of the other great artists in the category is a real honor for us.”

The group’s second release from its latest album “Countrified,” is called “You Still Own Me,” and is making its way up the country charts. Other top hits from the band over the years include “I Should Be Sleeping,” “Fall Into Me,” and “Last One Standing.”

Also set to perform at Winstock 2008 include headliners Reba McEntire and Montgomery Gentry, both on the heels of Grammy Award nominations, Craig Morgan, who is taking radio by storm with his hit “International Harvester,” as well as Kellie Pickler, Bomshell and Lady Antibellum.

The 15th annual Winstock Country Music Festival will take place at the festival grounds in Winsted, Minnesota Friday and Saturday, June 13-14, 2008. Visit WinstockFestival.com for more information and to order tickets.
