Winstock headliners Reba McEntire and Montgomery Gentry receive Grammy
nominations

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced the nominations for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards recently and Winstock headliners Reba McEntire and Montgomery Gentry both earned nomations. Montgomery Gentry received its first ever Grammy nomination in the "Best Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals" category for their hit "Lucky Man."

"We are excited and humbled," said Troy Gentry. "We have won an ACM, CMA and an American Music Award, but have never received a Grammy nomination in our ten years of making music together. Receiving this nomination completes the circle for me and my recording partner and best friend, Eddie Montgomery."

"I am speechless," said Eddie Montgomery. "We are so humbled by this honor. We want to thank our families, friends, fans, supporters, and most of all, God who makes all things happen."

McEntire received a nod for her duet with Kelly Clarkson in the "Best Country Collaboration With Vocals" category for their hit "Because of You."

The Grammy Awards will be broadcast Sunday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. You can find out more information on the awards show by visiting www.grammy.com.
