Important Notice to all Campers!
WINSTOCK camping offers primitive sites only with no running water or electrical hookups. We do not allow open campfires (self-contained only - subject to the Fire Marshal Approval), and each campsite is limited to one sleeping unit. We provide fresh water, medical facilities, and one free vehicle-parking pass per campsite. No pets are allowed. Campground admission will be open from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, and starting at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. All campsites are reserved and will be held for you - so there is no rush to get to your site. This year again the Winsted Fire Department will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner Thursday starting at 5 p.m. and we will also have live music in the beer tent from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. For anyone interested in breakfast, we will be running a shuttle bus every half-hour starting at 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The bus will stop at the Blue Note, downtown Winsted, also at Glenn’s SuperValu, and Subway.

When you enter the campgrounds, you will be issued garbage bags for cleanup. Please make sure your site is clean before you leave. Also, every effort was made to assign the campsites that you requested, but as the campgrounds filled up, the next best available site was given. Those of you that requested multiple sites together may notice that your campsite numbers are not in sequence. This is due to the fact that they were placed back-to-back to each other. Please visit the camping page to view a campground layout. For the benefit and safety of our campers Winstock will be providing 24-hour security at the campground entrance. Only authorized vehicles will be allowed to enter. To speed up the process of entering the campground, please make sure that everyone in your vehicle has purchased a concert ticket so that they can be banded at this time. Remember that everyone in the campgrounds must have a concert wristband. In the event of wet weather, some or all of our campsites may have to be moved. We will do the best we can to keep your sites together but it may not be possible, so please bear with us. If you have any questions regarding your campsite, please call our toll-free number 888-946-7865 and our operators will try to answer any of your questions. Also, please remember to bring a non-perishable food item or cash for the McLeod County Food Shelf. Thank you for your continued support and remember to renew your campsite for Winstock 2014 at the information tent.

Winstock 2013 campsite decorating contest: Celebrating 20 years

Plan ahead and be prepared to decorate your campsite according to this year's criteria. The grand prize in this year's campsite decorating contest will be provided by Midwest Machinery, and will be awarded to the overall most artistic and original, best-decorated campsite based on either of the themes listed below:

#1) Winstock get together: In commemoration of Winstock's 20th anniversary, decorate your campsite(s) showing your favorite memories from Winstock's rich history. This can be hit songs of past Winstock artists, Winstock memorabelia from throughout the years, photo displays, and much more. We want you to show us what you have enjoyed the most over the past 19 years.

#2) "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On" : Decorate your campsite(s) according to Winstock Country Music Festival 20th anniversary celebration artist Neal McCoy's fun hit song "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On."

In addition to the grand prize, winners will be chosen according to the two themes, with prizes provided by the Winstock 2013 promotional prize sponsors. An honorable mention may also be awarded at the judges' discretion.

All participants MUST register by 9 p.m. Friday, June 7 to be considered for judging. Registration will take place at the Winstock Information Tent from the time the gates open Friday until 9 p.m. Judging will take place Saturday morning and winners will be posted by 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Winstock Information Tent.
